Finally some updates. Here are some pictures from our fun-filled summer adventures.
I took Tessa to the Disney Store near Times Square (named for the good times you have while you're in it) to have her picture taken with some of the princesses. Here she is with Snow White. Everyone stopped to tell us how beautiful she was. It may be because they don't see many babies in the city, but it's more likely because she really is the cutest baby girl ever!
Kirt on the Brooklyn Bridge. Everyone should go to New York City with Kirt. It's so fun to watch him as he takes in the city. He's just like a kid at the top of the Empire State Building looking out on the sky line.
Kirt and Tessa in a park in NYC. Kirt took me on an awesome trip to New York for our 10 year wedding anniversary. Tessa got to come along, but the boys stayed home with Grandma Leslie. (Thanks again Mom!)
Owen is pretty good at feeding himself, but you never know what will happen when he's left alone with some chocolate pudding.
I guess I forgot to add this one earlier in the summer when Cal had his cast on. We had to wrap the cast in plastic wrap when he took a bath. Never to be left-out, Owen had to have his arm wrapped up as well. (Owen's aunts and uncles call this smile his "bitter beer face".)
Cal, Uncle Bart, Owen and Kirt in The Secret Garden at the Mirage in Las Vegas. It was so nice of Bart and Andria to let us stay for the weekend. (And even nicer for them and Grandma Peterson to watch the kids so Kirt and I could go out for my birthday.)
Tessa and her cousin Bailee. When Bailee found out we were having a baby girl she said it was a "dream come true". They are the only 2 granddaughters so far on the Peterson side.
Cal, Owen and their Cousin Isaac on the helicopter ride at Lagoon. Cal and Isaac are such great friends.
One of my favorite things in the whole world: The face of a sleeping child. My Grandma Ozmun says that when they sleep with their arms up like this that they are content and happy. I always think of her when my kids sleep like this.
Here's Owen and Aunt Libby on the Merry-Go-Round at Lagoon. It was Owen's favorite ride! (He did not enjoy Puff the Magic Dragon, but that didn't stop us from taking him on it 3 times.)
