Wicked!

Kirt gave me tickets to "Wicked" for Mother's Day and we finally got to go last night. Bonnie extended her trip to watch the kids for us (thanks again!) and it was wonderful. Everyone says that you need to see this show, and now I know why. I can't wait to get the soundtrack and would really like to see it again. It was super cute and very funny. Kirt and I both thought that the actress (Erin Mackey) who played "Glinda" (the Ga is silent) reminded us of a blond Molly Shannon. Kirt even got off work extra early and we enjoyed a nice dinner before the show. (Thanks to Brooke for the recommendation - Micelli's was great!) It was also just a fun night to be out with Kirt. It was a weird feeling not being stressed out to get home and make sure the babysitter had survived. The kids had a great night with Grandma complete with treats and a movie. It was a great night for all of us!
